Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably grasp an empty bobbin, by connecting the grasping claws of the empty bobbin, which are mounted in such manner that they can be brought into contact with or separated from each other, with the operation levers through a link mechanism for operating the grasping claws, and pivotting the operation levers on the both edges of a horizontal frame.
SOLUTION: A link mechanism 9 for operating the grasping claws, is mounted on a horizontal arm 5b, and the grasping claws 8 are mounted on the link mechanism 9 for operating the grasping claws. A point part of an air cylinder 11 is fitted in a hole 10a bored on a supporting frame 10, and the air cylinder 11 is horizontally mounted. An outer frame 12a of a ball bearing 12 is mounted on a point of a piston rod 11a of the air cylinder 11, and the edges at one side of the operation levers 15 are respectively pivotted on the both edge parts of a horizontal frame 13 through the vertical pins 14. Whereby an empty bobbin can be grasped in a stabilized condition.
