Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject composition having well-balanced adhesive strength and cohesive force, heat-resistance, water-resistance and bonding strength to polyolefin by emulsion polymerizing a specific monomer (mixture) dissolving a tackifier resin in the presence of a specific emulsion.
SOLUTION: This adhesive is produced by carrying out the emulsion polymerization of the mixture of monomer (mixture) (B) selected from (A1) a (meth) acrylate, (A2) a vinyl aromatic compound and (A3) a carboxylic acid containing vinyl group and 10-300 pts. of a tackifying resin dissolved per 100 pts.wt. of (B), in the presence of a polymer emulsion which is produced by the polymerization of the monomer (mixture) selected from A1, A2 and A3, in an amount of 45-250 pts. of this mixture per 100 pts. of solid in (A).
