Abstract:
To provide an aqueous emulsion composition for producing a film having synovial property and high waterproofness or durability.SOLUTION: There is provided an emulsion composition containing the following components (A)-(C): (A) one or more kinds of hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber selected from a group consisting of components (a) and (b), (a) a hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber formed by binding of a silicone compound to a cellulose fiber, and (b) a hydrophobic modified cellulose fiber formed by binding of a hydrocarbon based compound having a total carbon number of 16-40 with a cationic group to an anionic group of an anion modified cellulose fiber; (B) water; and (C) an organic compound which is liquid at 25°C and at 1 atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: None
