Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to use an aureobasidin, useful as an antifungal agent, capable of being used by injection by processing the aureobasidin into an emulsion preparation.
CONSTITUTION: This emulsion preparation comprises an aureobasidin, fats and oils, a polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol and water as essential components and is obtained by dispersing and emulsifying an oil phase containing the aureobasidin into a water phase. The emulsion preparation has, for example, preferably 1-30 % w/v fat and oil concentration and contains a higher fatty acid or an acidic phospholipid as an emulsion stabilizer.
