To provide a composition in the form of a W/O emulsion which does not have the defect of the prior art, while procuring a fresh effect on application due to the presence of a high content of an aqueous phase, particularly is mild on application, brings about an immediate beautifying effect such as matting and reduction of incomplete portions of the skin, simultaneously brings about moisturizing, and is stable under the presence of a filler.
The composition for topical application in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion contains an aqueous phase dispersed in an oily phase and contains (1) at least one silicone emulsifier, (2) at least one hydrophilic polymer chosen from crosslinked acrylic polymers and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid polymers, and (3) at least one silicon-based filler, wherein the amount of the aqueous phase is at least 60% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition. This composition is used for moisturizing the skin and attenuating the visible or tactile irregularities of the surface of the skin.
