Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve inclusion property without causing contamination by specifying contents of PbO, Bi2O3, ZnO, B2O3, Cr2O3, SnO2, SiO2 and Al2O3,
CONSTITUTION: The 30-40%, by weight, mixture of PbO, Bi2O3 and the like, 35-50% ZnO, 10-30% B2O3, 0.5-3% Cr2O3 and 0.5-10% mixture of SnO2 and SiO2 and 0-10% Al2O3 are mixed and the fine particle mixture (A) of metal oxide is obtained. Then, melt (B) is obtained by heating/dissolving the component A in a platinum pot with an oxidation condition. Then, the component B is supplied into cold water and a frit is formed. Then, it is separated from water and a rough frit (C) is obtained. Then, the component C is wet ball mill- processed with Al2O3 medium and low melting point crystalline glass having optical density parameter of ≥1.6 and suitable for encapsulant is produced.
