PURPOSE: To limit the gas in a chamber from circulating into the part of high temperature and prevent the gas from being overheated by contacting with the part of high temperature by a method wherein the parts of high temperature of a motor and the main body of the compressor are partitioned by mounting a partitioning plate formed by a heat insulating material.
CONSTITUTION: A part of low temperature low pressure gas of refrigerant medium, sucked from the suction port 12 of an enclosed chamber 1, is diffused into the chamber, however, most of it is limited by the partitioning plate 20 partitioning the parts of high temperature of the motor 2 and the compressor main body 3 and cools the motor 2 without being circulated into the parts of high temperature around the cylinder 8 of the compressor main body 3, a discharging port 17 or the like. Suction gas is sucked into the cylinder 8 by a suction pipe 13 through a suction chamber 14 without being overheated. By using the heat insulating material as the partitioning plate 20, the heat transmission from the parts of high temperature is interrupted by the partitioning plate 20 and the overheat of the suction gas is restrained further, therefore, the volumetric efficiency and the cooling capacity of the compressor may be improved.
