Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of an enclosed type electromagnetic relay by eliminating a sealing failure at the terminal portion of the electromagnetic relay equipped with a folded external connection terminal to withstand a large current-carrying capacity.
CONSTITUTION: The enclosed type electromagnetic relay is equipped with at least an external connection terminal 61a-1 passing through a base cage body 3 and then enclosing a through region with a seal material 5. The relay is made up by installing a sealant inflow means 61a-1 at an external connection terminal 61a-1 formed folded in a cross direction. The means 61a-1" goes into a bent part 61a-1' from the edge in a cross direction in the enclosed region.
