PURPOSE: To enclose every unit cell and omit a cell case to improve volume efficiency of the cell, by equipping each cell with both supply port and exhaust port for electrolytic solution, an exhaust port for gas, and enclosing others, and connecting each manifold corresponding to each of the electrolytic-solution supply port, the electrolytic-solution exhaust port, and the gas exhaust port.
CONSTITUTION: Each unit cell 9 is equipped with both a supply port 18 and an exhaust dipping port 19 for electrolytic solution, and an exhaust port 21 for gas, with others enclosed. The supply port 18 of each cell is connected with both a liquid manifold 16, having an electrolytic-solution introduction port 12, and a distribution pipe 17, and the electrolytic-solution dipping chamber 22 is installed under the dipping port 19 to be coupled with an exhaust flow path 13. With the gas distribution pipes 23 connected to the gas exhaust port 21, to mount a gas manifold 24 formed between the gas introduction port 14 and exhaust port 15, the electrolytic-solution dipping chamber 22 and gas manifold 24 are jointed with the gas pipes 25.
