Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing and sealing device that makes it possible to confirm correspondence between an envelope and a content sealed therein, and also ensures secrecy of the content.SOLUTION: An enclosing and sealing device 20 is configured to enclose a printed content into an envelope and seal the envelope. The enclosing and sealing device 20 includes: a water application part 30 that applies water to a predetermined portion of the envelope to be seen through by water absorption; and a collation part 32 that reads a code printed on the envelope and a code printed on the content sealed in the envelope through a portion seen through due to the water application by the water application part, and collates the read two codes.
