Title:
ENCODER SIGNAL MULTIPLICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3035835
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an encoder signal detecting device capable of detecting serial outputs as signals from an encoder signal multiplication circuit.
CONSTITUTION: An encoder signal multiplication circuit A/D converts two-phase sine wave signals which are roughly 90 degrees out of phase with each other and multiplies the two signals and compares the results of multiplication with each other and performs counting-up and -down and the result of the counting is used as the address of a function generator and two-phase rectangular waves which are roughly 90 degrees out of phase with each other are formed from values of a counter and up/down values are added to the counted values of the two-phase rectangular waves and the result of the addition is output. The value of either of the sine wave signals is subjected to two's complement transformation and is phase shifted by 180 degrees and can then be added to a corresponding multiplier.
