Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an end cap for a batter steel pipe so that water into the steel pipe can be released certainly and naturally out of the steel pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An end cap for a batter steel pipe is such that is composed of a bowl-like part 5 to be put into the inside of the batter steel pipe 2 and a flange extending from the periphery of the bowl-like part 5 and contacting the end 2a of the steel pipe, and a water-releasing groove 10 is provided at the underside of the flange contacting the end 2a of the steel pipe. With the cap fitted into the end of the steel pipe, water inside the steel pipe can be released to the outside through the water-releasing groove 10 between the internal face 2b of the steel pipe 2 and the bowl-like part 5.
