Abstract:
To provide an end face cleaning method that can remove a substance adhering to an end face of a mount flange with a simple configuration, and a cutting device.SOLUTION: The cutting device comprises: a chuck table 10 for holding a tabular work-piece 200; a cutting unit 20 that fixes a cutting blade with a mount flange 24 fixed to a tip of a spindle 22 and cuts the work-piece 200 held on the chuck table 10; and an end face cleaning unit 100 for cleaning an end face 24C of the mount flange 24 that comes into contact with and supports the cutting blade. The end face cleaning unit 100 comprises a polishing sheet 101 that comes into contact with the end face 24C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
