Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce such a good quality package as less in waste yarn admixture by performing reversed variable adjustment of the package or approach degree correction of a suction mouth at a time when pick finding frequency of plural numbers of yarn ends has increased, and thereby controlling the occurrence of these plural numbers of yarn ends.

CONSTITUTION: If end breakage occurs in a winding unit, pick finding is carried out by a suction mouth 1, and a yarn end 3 subjected to this pick finding is guided into a slub catcher 4. If this pick finding yarn end 3 is one piece and therefore normal, ending operation by an ending device takes place. If a yarn defect is detected in double pick finding, however, an additional cutter 5 operates, performing yarn cutting. When this cutter 5 has operated, this operation detecting signal is fed to a data centralizing device 6. When occurring frequency of this operating detection signal exceeds a control limit value, a rotational value of a drum motor 13 is decreased by an inverter unit 14 being controlled by a command out of a unit controller 11, so that a reversed variable of a package 2 is decreased as well. In consequence, the double pick finding in the suction mouth 1 is thus reduced.
