Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber braid subjected to end processing by bonding, comprising a rubber yarn in a rubber braid not liberating from the ends of the braid, not readily causing the looseness of the braid.
SOLUTION: This end processed rubber braid is produced by drawing a fixed position of a rubber braid not to cut into given length, spraying or applying a permeable adhesive to the drawn stretch part, permeating the adhesive to the interior of the stretch part, reacting and curing the permeable adhesive while drawing the rubber braid, cutting the bonded and cured stretch part and forming end processed parts having a diameter smaller than that of a central barrel part. Since yarns 21, 22, 23 and 24 constituting the rubber braid and rubber yarns 31 and 32 thus produced are bonded while maintaining the maximum elongation state, the rubber braid hardly causes a play and is hardly deformed. Voids resulting from shrinkage and recession of the rubber yarns 31 and 32 will not occur. Consequently the objective end processed rubber braid having hardly loosened end parts is obtained.
