PURPOSE: To secure a seam in a state of having reduced a yarn end so much as no hindrance by constituting each piece of yarn at both ends of an ending joint so as to be cut at the root of a joint to the yarn that expanded both the ends of the joint.
CONSTITUTION: Moving height of a body of a yarn cutting device 7 is adjusted by stopper nuts 83, 97, while a movable cutting edge 87 is favorably advanced into a part opened to a V shaped part of a joint of yarns Y1, Y2, and an optimum edge part of a fixed cutting part 77b is brought to a spot just under the joint. If a cylinder 75 is further extended from this state, it turns around the movable cutting edges 87, 87, making the yarn in the upper part so as to guide it by each top of these movable cutting edges 87, 87, and both ends of the joint is guided to a crossing force spot between the fixed cutting edge 77b and the movable cutting edge 87, cutting the joint between the yarns Y1, Y2 beneath the spot opened in a V-shaped form. Thus, such a seam as in a state of having reduced a yarn end so much as no hindrance is securable.
