Title:
ENDLESS BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11350370
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a belt that can be guaranteed the proper control of the dehydration state along the widthwise direction by permitting the dehydration toward both in the former that is closed on one side of the belt and opened on the contrary side and has a specific water-storing capacity, an average flexural rigidity in the circumferential direction and the flexural rigidity in the transverse direction.

This endless belt 10 is almost closed on one side 12, and opened on the contrary side 14. The water-storing capacity of the belt 10 is at least 5 l/m2, particularly 5-25 l/m2, advantageously 10-18 l/m2, the average flexural rigidity in the circumferential direction and in the transverse direction is smaller than or equal to 10 Nm2 per 1 m width. Thus, this endless belt 10 is obtained for use in the dehydration range of the machine, particularly in the forming range for producing fiber web, particularly paper, cardboard, tissue paper, and/or fleece webs.
