PURPOSE: To provide an endoscope picture which reduces the occurrence of picture deflection even at a portion where movement occurs and is apt to diagnose by a method wherein a timing at which an endoscope picture is stored as a static picture by a static picture memory means is synchronized with a given timing of a heart beat measured by a heart beat measuring means.
CONSTITUTION: A source unit 5 and a television camera 6 are connected to a blood endoscope 4 inserted in a blood 2, e.g., an annular artery in a state to be inserted in a sheath 3. A picture signal photographed by the television camera 6 is converted into a standard video signal by a CCU 7. An electrocardiograph 15 displays the electrocardiowaveform of a patient detected by an electrocardiosensor 16, and output an electrocardiowaveform signal to an electronic control unit 8. The electronic control unit 8 produces a trigger signal synchronized with an electrocardiowaveform from an inputting electrocardiowaveform signal. When a freeze switch 17 is operated by a user, an endoscope picture displayed by a color monitor 9 is stored by a memory 12 at a timing synchronized with the trigger signal.
