Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the breakage of a light guide fiber in a light guide connector at the time of the attachment or detachment of the light guide connector while maintaining simple structure as the connector. CONSTITUTION:While a light guide fiber bundle 23 is extended from the rear end of a flexible light guide cord 17 to form a hard part, a ferrule pipe 36 is fitted to cover the hard part from the rear end to a front halfway point. This ferrule pipe 36 covers the light guide fiber bundle 23 at least beyond said hard part and the tip side of the connector pipe 37 is fitted loosely between the inner periphery of the light guide chord 17 and the outer periphery of the light guide fiber bundle 23, covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 38 having an adhesive on its internal surface, and adhered and fixed. Further, this heat- shrinkable tube 38 is covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 39 made of silicone, etc.
