Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an endoscopic device close to pan-focus which gives the least load to an user while regularly keeping the brightness of object image optimum for photographing by use of an autoiris device in the external TV camera of an endoscope.

CONSTITUTION: This endoscopic device has an optical system for forming an object image, a CCD 14 for receiving the image formed by the optical system, an autoiris 30 provided in the optical system, a light source device 5 having a light source diaphragm 17, a light guide 12 for emitting the light from the light source device 5 toward an object M, and a CCU 3 having a brightness detecting means for detecting the brightness of the image of the object M and a control means for controlling the autoiris 30 and the light source diaphragm 17 on the basis of the information given from the detecting means. The control means controls the autoiris 30 and the light source diaphragm 17 so that the size of aperture of the autoiris 30 is small as much as possible.
