The endoscopic treatment tool comprises the movable distal end portion 5 for treating a living body; a plurality of first coil sheaths 6A and 6B with a single element wire 6a spirally wound around; a second coil sheath 7 around which a plurality of element wires 7a are spirally wound in the same direction and which is attached to the outside of the first coil sheaths 6A and 6B; a plurality of slenderly extending operating wires 8 whose distal ends are connected to the movable distal end portion 5, and an operating portion to extend/retract the operating wires 8. The distal end of the second coil sheath 7 is fixed to the movable distal end portion 5 and the proximal end of the sheath is fixed to the operating portion. The operating wires 8 are movably inserted into the first coil sheaths 6A and 6B respectively.
