Title:
ENDOTHERMIC FABRIC HAVING REVERSIBLE SUSCEPTIBILITY TO DISCOLORATION, AND CLOTHING USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1143864
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an endothermic fabric having reversible susceptibility to discoloration, remarkably improved in endothermic properties of clothing, by applying to a fabric a near infrared rays-absorbing organic electron donating compound and an electron accepting compound along with a reaction medium causing reversibly an electron donating and accepting reaction in a preferred temperature range. SOLUTION: This fabric is obtained by forming microcapsules including a homogeneously compatibilized product containing (A) a near infrared rays- absorbing organic electron donating compound of the formula [R1 , R2 , R10 and R11 are each a (cyclo)alkyl; (a), (b), (c) and (d) show carbon atom but one or two of them may be nitrogen atom; R3 , R12 are each an alkyl; R4 , R5 , R8 and R9 are each H, an alkyl or an alkoxy; R6 and R7 are each H or an alkyl; R13 is H, a hologen or an (amino)alkyl; (m) is an integer of 1-4], (B) an electron accepting compound, and (C) a reaction medium causing reversibly an electron donating and accepting reaction in a preferred temperature range, and applying to both the surface and the back of a fabric the liquid prepared by dispersing 20-80 pts.wt. of the capsules into 20-80 pts.wt. of an urethane emulsion.
