Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energizing device for an image forming device capable of excellently preventing the rush current from occurring. SOLUTION: When a transistor 93 (or 94) is turned on, photo triac coupler 95 (or 96) and the triac 97 (or 98) are respectively turned on, a heater 15a for fixing is energized. Moreover, an impedance 99 is connected with the triac 98 in series, and the lower voltage is applied at the time of turning on only the triac 98 in comparison with that at the time of turning on the triac 97. At the time of energizing the heater 15a, the triac 98 is turned on first, and a relatively low voltage is applied to the heater for fixing 15a (time t1). Subsequently, by turning on the triac 97 with a specified time difference, a high voltage is applied (time t2). Since the voltage is low at the time t1, and it is already energized at the time t2, a large rush current is prevented from occurring at either time.
