Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy supply device for a motorized brake pressure build-up device of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid supercapacitor cell (11) has high power density and high energy density and can operate in a wide temperature range. This allows for flexible installation of a power supply device (1) at almost any positions of a vehicle. If an onboard power supply (2) fails and/or the voltage of at least one of the onboard power supplies (2) falls to a value equal to or below a predetermined limit, at least one hybrid supercapacitor cell (11) in an energy storage mechanism (10) releases energy to supply electric energy to a motorized brake pressure build-up device (30). Thus, the motorized brake pressure build-up device (30) can be used even when the output of an ordinary energy supply is limited or fails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
