Title:
ENGINE AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3564876
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level off air-fuel ratios even at the starting of an engine in the latter half period of continuous disequilibrium of predicted temperatures of the intake valve.
SOLUTION: Respective data for obtaining equilibrium deposition quantity Mfh and quantitative rates can be adapted to the temperatures of cooling water in their disequilibrium. Arithmetic means 26 and 27 calculate an equilibrium deposition quantity Mfh and a quantitative rate Kmf respectively by referring to the respective data with the use of predicted temperatures Tf of an intake valve instead of the detected values of the cooling water temperature. A correction means 35 corrects the calculated equilibrium deposition quantity Mfh or quantitative rate Kmf with a correction quantity during disequilibrium in temperature corresponding to the temperature difference Dtwf between a detected value Tw of the temperature of cooling water and a predicted temperature of the intake valve. A correction means 33 corrects a basic injection quantity Tp with the quantity of fuel corresponding to a target air-fuel ratio, and a correction means 37 corrects the target air-fuel ratio-based fuel quantity with a correction quantity for unburned fuel corresponding to the temperature difference Dtwf.
