Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure traveling performance of a vehicle while solving a problem caused by control failure of hydraulic pressure.SOLUTION: A control device for an engine includes: an oil control valve 84 for controlling hydraulic pressure of an oil supply passage 5 to which oil is supplied from an oil pump 81 driven by the engine 100; an oil temperature sensor 63 for detecting an oil temperature in the oil supply passage 5; and an operation control section 602 for controlling an operation of the engine 100. When a hydraulic pressure abnormality that causes the hydraulic pressure of the oil supply passage 5 to become outside a range controllable by the oil control valve 84 occurs, the operation control section 602 restricts the operating state of the engine to a range in which engine speed does not exceed predetermined upper limit speed, and corrects the upper limit speed in accordance with the oil temperature detected by the oil temperature sensor 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
