Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early solve turbo lag in a control device of an engine including a turbo supercharger.SOLUTION: A PCM 50 includes a VVT control portion 59 for controlling an overlap timing as a timing when both of an intake valve 22 and an exhaust valve 29 are opened through an exhaust VVT in an intake stroke of an engine 100. The VVT control portion 59 determines whether turbo lag occurs in a turbo supercharger 4 or not, and the VVT control portion 59 retards a closing timing of the exhaust valve 29 so that the overlap timing is extended when the occurrence of the turbo lag in the turbo supercharger 4 is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
