Abstract:
To provide a controlling device of an engine capable of restraining deterioration of an operating capability of a fuel injection valve when fuel pressure is increased due to abnormality of a fuel system.
This engine controls fuel injection by an injector according to an operating condition of an engine. This engine detects rise of the fuel pressure due to abnormality of a fuel pressure adjusting means for adjusting pressure of the fuel supplied to an injector from a fuel pump so as to judge failure of the fuel system. When failure of the fuel system is judged, a target air-fuel ratio is made rich, so as to restrain deterioration of the actuation capability due to rise of the fuel pressure of the injector.
