Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an oil filling rate in a cooling channel, and to reduce a friction loss of an engine and oil use amount, concerning an engine cooler.SOLUTION: An engine cooler is equipped with a supply oil passage 5 formed in a cylinder block 1, connected to an oil supply mechanism 20 at one end, and provided with an injection port 6 facing an outer peripheral surface of a piston 3 at the other end; and an introducing oil passage 9 formed in the piston 3, provided with an introducing port 8 facing an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 2 at one end, and connected to a cooling channel 7 at the other end. In a period in which the injection port 6 and the introducing port 8 are at least partially superimposed, the oil supply mechanism 20 supplies oil to the supply oil passage 5, and fills the cooling channel 7 with oil through the introducing oil passage 9.
