Abstract:
To inhibit oil adhering to an engine cover from adhering to an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine to inhibit heating of the oil, and to inhibit water etc. from adhering to an ignition coil, or an injector, or a sensor etc. of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An engine cover 10 includes a deck surface 11 covering a cylinder head cover of an internal combustion engine. The engine cover 10 includes a gutter part 12 which is formed recessed from the deck surface 11. An opening 15 which opens so as to enable a user to look at an oil filler cap of the cylinder head cover is provided at a bottom wall 14 of the gutter part 12. The engine cover 10 includes a bank part 15A at which a peripheral edge of the opening 15 protrudes in a toric form to the deck surface 11 side. Further, a first discharge passage 16 extending to the end edge side of the deck surface 11 is connected to the bottom wall 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
