Abstract:

To provide an engine crushing attachment and an engine dismantling machine separating an engine into large blocks of a head part and a body part to facilitate recovering, causing little blade breakage, and crushing the engine with a comparatively small crushing force.

Movable blades 28 are provided to a pair of open/close bodies 25 mutually openably/closably combined. The length of the movable blade 28 is set longer than the length of the engine 30. The end in the open/close direction of the movable blade 28 is set plain. The cross section of the movable blade 28 is set tapered getting thin toward the end. The end faces of the two movable blades 28 are set to butt against each other in a closed state of the open/close bodies 25. The movable blade 28 is inserted into a throttled part 30c of a side face between the head part 30a containing a feed/exhaust valve of the engine 30 and the body part 30b containing a crankshaft and a piston for closing, the engine 30 is parted and crushed.
