Abstract:
To improve the handling property of a harness connector.SOLUTION: A harness connector 701 for connecting components of an engine to an engine controller and a battery, respectively, is fixed and provided on a right side face of a cylinder block via a connector bracket 702. The harness connector and the connector bracket are arranged in sites encircled by an oil cooler 13, an oil filter 14, a fuel supply pump 15, and a common rail 16. A main harness aggregation 703 extending from the harness connector is guided to a cylinder head side while passing through between the right side face and the oil filter 14 along a linear portion of a right side second reinforcing rib. Wiring harnesses 706, 707 are provided on an upper part of the engine and are extended along a plurality of sides of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 33
