Abstract:
To suppress variation in air-fuel mixture concentration in a combustion chamber at the time of starting an engine.SOLUTION: An engine includes: an engine body that has a cylinder, a piston reciprocating in the cylinder, a crank shaft rotating by interlocking with the reciprocating of the piston, and a valve train that performs intake action into the cylinder and exhaust action by interlocking with the reciprocating of the piston; a fuel injection valve that injects a fuel; an ignition device that ignites the fuel in the cylinder; and a control device for controlling the fuel injection valve and the ignition device, which executes a stand-by processing of maintaining a state of stopping fuel injection since a starting is determined until it is determined that the exhaust action by the valve train is executed when a predetermined stand-by condition is satisfied, controls the fuel injection valve to inject a fuel, and control the ignition device to execute a start combustion processing for igniting the fuel in the cylinder when the stand-by processing is finished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
