Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of driving comfortableness as well as to prevent air cleaner from coming off, by installing an engine body via an elastic member, while attaching the air cleaner to an upper part of a transmission so as to be rotated on it, and making it follow a vibration of the engine body. CONSTITUTION:Both ends in front and in the rear of an engine body 22 are elastically supported by a rubber mount 32 and a cylindrical bush 28, making it rock in vertical directions with a fulcrum shaft 27 as a supporting point, whereby vibro-energy is absorbed. And, an air cleaner 20 is pivotally attached to an upper part of a transmission 11, making it rotable with the fulcrum shaft as a supporting point. Then, with a joint part of a carburetor 21 moving vertically due to vibrations of the engine body 22, the air cleaner 20 moves vertically and follows the vibrations of the engine body 22, so that such stress as removing the joint part between the carburetor 21 and the air cleaner is hard to work. With this constitution, the vibrations of the engine body is hard to be transmitted to a body frame whereby a feeling of driving comfortablenes is improved, while connection between the carburetor and the air cleaner is hard or impossible to come off.
