Abstract:
To provide a supercharging device for an engine, capable of securing a function of a supercharger without being affected by a traveling environment.SOLUTION: A supercharging device for an engine includes: a supercharger 2 provided in an intake passage 31 of the engine; an electromagnetic clutch 3 for driving the supercharger 2; and a PCM 10 for controlling the electromagnetic clutch 3 so as to drive the supercharger 2 when an operation state is in a predetermined supercharging region and to stop driving of the supercharger 2 when the operation state is in a non-supercharging region. When a supercharger temperature related to the supercharger 2 is lower than a set temperature, the PCM 10 performs the temperature-rise forcible drive of the supercharger 2 by the electromagnetic clutch 3 in the non-supercharging region and delays closing timing of an intake valve 6 compared to closing timing set in accordance with the operation state of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
