PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a light-weight Atkinson cycle mechanism with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An engine comprises: a piston 12; a piston pin 13; a crankshaft 14 including a crankpin 19; a connecting rod 15 including a small end part 20 connected to the piston pin 13, and a large end part 21 connected to the crankpin 19; an internal tooth part 23 and a supporting hole part 22 formed in the large end part 21; an eccentric bearing 16 rotatably attached to the supporting hole part 22, and in which an eccentric hole part 25 eccentric with respect to a center of the large end part 21 is formed; and a gear member 17 being attached to the crankpin 19, and engaging with the internal tooth part 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
