Abstract:
To suppress enlargement of an engine reversely rotating a crankshaft.SOLUTION: In an engine (10), a counter shaft (61) is arranged behind a crankshaft (31), and a primary shaft (51) is arranged below the crankshaft. A primary drive gear (37) of the crankshaft is connected to a primary driven gear (62) of the counter shaft through a primary idle gear (52) of the primary shaft. The crankshaft rotates reversely to a rotating direction of a rear wheel (75), and the primary shaft returns the reverse rotation of the crankshaft to the forward rotation, and transmits the rotation to the counter shaft. In an engine side view, the primary idle gear is overlapped on a movement locus of a connecting rod (34d), and the primary idle gear is out of the movement locus of the connecting rod in an engine width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
