Abstract:
To provide an universal cylinder mounting part having engaging means by frictional force, which is used for rotating a cylinder to be engraved around the axial line of the cylinder.
An universal cylinder mounting part 22 for supporting the end of a cylinder, which is arranged in this engraving device, is equipped with a base end part 44, a spindle 32 having a nose-like end part 40 and a rotary shaft, and engaging means 50, 52 arranged at the base end part 44 so as to be engaged with a mounting opening part in the end part of a cylinder to be engraved, and the engaging means 50, 52 are arranged not to be in parallel with the rotary shaft.
