PURPOSE: To effectively activate an existing flush toilet by sounding music programmed in advance when an user take a seat on a water closet at its specified position, and thereby suspending the music as flushing is over.

CONSTITUTION: A micro switch 1 is interposed between a lavatory seat and a closet main body in a western style flush toilet, and an input switch for the electrical circuit of a music device 2 is turned on with the lavatory seat pressed down when an user takes a seat or with the position of the bottom of his body affirmed by a photo sensor 3. In the second place, music is sounded with a specifically programmed cassette tape driven upon turning-on of the device 2. After he has released himself, sounding from a speaker is suspended with a lever operated and the like while a restoring command is held by a timer for the definite period of time since music is suspended, wherein music is sounded again when switching is continuously kept on, one cycle of the aforesaid processes is however allowed only when switching is turned off. A Japanese style toilet is so modified that a similar system can be applied. By this constitution, an existing flush toilet can thereby be effectively activated.
