Abstract:
To solve a problem that, conventional vinyl acetate resin solution is a composition in which vinyl acetate resin is dissolved in methanol, thus it is required to install a local exhaust system and to manage the work environment every 6 months upon using it, since methanol is a substance that falls under the Organic Solvent Poisoning Prevention Regulations, accordingly it is there has been a demand for a composition in which the vinyl acetate resin is dissolved in a solvent which does not require these regulations, but such composition has not been invented.SOLUTION: The product of the present invention is a composition in which a vinyl acetate resin is dissolved in a mixed solution of 20 to 80 wt% ethanol and 80 to 20 wt% dimethyl carbonate. Both of the above two components are safe substances that do not fall under the Organic Solvent Poisoning Prevention Regulations, may dissolve vinyl acetate resin well, and have excellent drying properties.
