Abstract:
To provide a method for applying a useful compound for high ocular pressure, especially for the treatment of glaucoma, and a medicinal composition containing the compound.
In this method, a prostaglandin derivative represented by the formula of a figure is applied in an enough quantity for the treatment of high ocular pressure to eye, and a medicinal composition containing the compound is disclosed. For the medicinal composition, especially an ocular liquid solution containing at least a component selected from the group consisting of an ophthalmologically permissible preserver, a buffer system, an antioxidant, and a chelate agent.
