Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an epoxy resin composition capable of providing an epoxy resin cured product excellent in heat resistance, elastic modulus and elongation; a molding material using the epoxy resin composition; and a fiber-reinforced composite material obtained by curing the molding material.SOLUTION: There is provided the epoxy resin composition containing at least following constituent elements [A] to [D], the constituent element [A] is contained in an amount of 1 to 15 pts.mass in 100 pts.mass of the total epoxy resin and the constituent element [B] satisfies following (1). [A] A polyfunctional aliphatic epoxy resin having a neopentyl structure in one molecule. [B] An epoxy resin having an aromatic ring. [C] A curing agent. [D] A curing accelerator. (1) 50 pts.mass of the epoxy resin having the aromatic ring of the constituent element [B] and 50 pts.mass of a bisphenol A type epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent in the range of 170 to 220 are blended and 0.9 equivalent of an active hydrogen group based on 1 equivalent of the epoxy group of the total epoxy resin component of dicyandiamide, 2 pts.mass of 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)1,1-dimethyl urea are blended, and the elastic modulus of a rubbery state of the resulting cured product by heating and curing at 180°C for 2 hours becomes 20 MPa or more.
