Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an equipment which detects the locally worn part of a roll and easily executes the automatic cladding by welding thereon.
CONSTITUTION: A body frame 1 is loaded on a supporting frame 101 of a roll 100, a welding torch 8 is held by the body frame through slide blocks 9,14,15 which are movable in three-axis directions, a sensor 17 for detecting a roll worn part 102 is mounted in the vicinity of the torch in a vertically movable manner by means of an air cylinder 18 independent from the torch, and in addition, friction rollers 19,20 to rotate the roll are provided.
