Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position and hold a device to face a target portion of a workpiece manually with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A device holding apparatus includes a fixed supporting part 1 fixed to a workpiece, a peening head 50 performing shot-peening on a work target location of the workpiece, and a movable multijoint type supporting frame 2 having a base end connected to a fixed supporting part and a distal end connected to the peening head and positioning the peening head at an optional position in a space and adjusting a posture of the peening head to perform work on the work target location by moving a plurality of joints K1-K7 provided between the base end and the distal end. A lock mechanism for locking the joints in optional angular positions is provided for each of the joints.
