To provide production facilities for dry matter of livestock wastes and a carbide capable of producing the carbide of a high added value from the dry matter of the livestock wastes.

The production facilities have drying equipment 12 which is equipped with a drying furnace 35 of a rotary kiln type for accepting the livestock wastes 11, heating and drying the same by the hot air supplied from a first hot air generation furnace 16 and discharging the same in the form of the dry matter 12 and carbonization equipment 15 which is equipped with a carbonization furnace 58 of a rotary kiln type for accepting portions of the dry matter 12, carbonizing the dry matter 12 by the hot air supplied from a second hot air generation furnace 57 and discharging the same in the form of the carbide 14, wherein portions of the carbide 14 and the dry distillation gas generated at the time of producing the carbide 14 are supplied to the second hot air generation furnace 57 and are used as portions of its fuel and the balance of the dry matter 12 and the balance of the carbide 14 are respectively used as organic fertilizers and carbon products.
