Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain equipment and a method for cold fusion reaction wherein a reaction level is made high by making an electrode part be minute particles.

CONSTITUTION: Equipment for cold fusion reaction constructed of a casing 1 which is formed of a nonconductive material of an arbitrary shape, water- permeable plates 2 which divide the inside of the casing 1 into three, anodic electrode particles 4 which are packed in one of spaces partitioned by the the two water-permeable plates 2, cathodic electrode particles 6 which are packed in the space on the other side and has a property of occluding heavy hydrogen, electrode plates 3 and 5 which are positioned in the separate electrode particles and a current supplying device which is provided for supplying a current to the electrode plates 3 and 5. In regard to a method wherein a nuclear fusion is generated at a cold temperature by making the current flow between the anodic electrode plate 3 located in heavy water as an electrolyte 7 and the cathodic electrode plate 5 having the property of occluding the heavy hydrogen, a method for the cold fusion reaction wherein the electrode plates 3 and 5 are made minute particle assemblies separated from the electrolyte 7 by the water-permeable plates 2 and electrode plate bodies positioned inside these assemblies.
