Title:
低温液体を精製するための装置および方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007508932
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
The pipe has a double envelope of thermal insulation (14) under vacuum, containing in its inter-wall space an insulating material. This defines a circulation space in which the filter is fixed. The upstream portion of the pipe opens into the open end of the channel through a first seal (73); the downstream portion opens opposite at least part of the porous wall. A liquid circulation pipe (13) has an upstream (21) and a downstream (23) portion, and a filter (37) between the upstream and downstream portions in which is made at least one channel (51) extending along an axis (Y-Y') of circulation from an open end (53) to a closed end (55). At least part of the channel has a porous wall (57). The first seal is held in compression by the filter and the first portion at the temperature of the cryogenic liquid being purified. The part of the first portion adjacent to the open end extends along the axis of circulation Y-Y'. The first portion is the upstream portion, with an axis X-X' at an angle of 10-30[deg] to the axis of circulation Y-Y', preferably 15[deg]. The axis of circulation is vertical and the downstream portion opens opposite at least part of the porous wall near the closed end of the filter, which is the upper end of the filter. The pipe has a branch extending parallel to the axis of circulation between the first portion and a free end. This branch contains at least part of the filter and a thermal insulation device mounted to press on the closed end of the filter and the free end of the branch. Downstream seals are placed between the filter and the insulation device and held in compression by the filter and the insulation device at the temperature of the cryogenic liquid being purified. A pre-filter with a porosity greater than or equal to 100 Microm is placed in the upstream portion of the pipe. The porous wall has a porosity less than or equal to 0.20 Microm. An independent claim is made for a method of purifying a cryogenic liquid using the above installation.
