PURPOSE: To obtain equipment for observation and repair of the inside of a high temperature furnace which prevents a mistake in setting on the occasion of setting data on repair of a furnace wall of a high temperature furnace and also simplifies the setting.
CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating box being rotatable and movable vertically is inserted into a high temperature furnace 1. A TV camera 2 is fitted in this heat insulating box and an image of the inside of the high temperature furnace is picked up thereby through an observation window of the heat insulating box. In succession, repair of a furnace wall is conducted by a repair machine nozzle 9 inserted into the high temperature furnace. A touch panel 8 is provided in front of CRT 7 and the image picked up by the TV camera 2 and an image of the visual field position and the visual field range thereof are synthesized and displayed on the CRT 7. When a place necessitating the repair is specified by touching the touch panel 8, a signal thereof is inputted to a personal computer 5 and thereby a range of the repair is computed automatically. Based on data on the repair computed, the personal computer 5 gives an instruction on the range of the repair to a sequencer 4.
