Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a steel sheet from colliding with an equipment and being buckled by advancing the steel sheet to the vertically lower part and arranging a shearing machine and a welding machine in the vertical direction.
CONSTITUTION: A coil is inserted into a unwinder 1. The steel sheet 8 is unwound from the unwinder 1 and hung downward to be carried to a roller correcting machine 10. The roller correcting machine 10 corrects the coiling habit of the steel sheet 8 and is sent to the shearing machine 12 through sheet passing rollers 11. The shearing machine 12 cuts off the shape defective part of the tip of the steel sheet 8 and the sheets 8 is sent to the welding machine 15. The welding machine 15 welds the front end of the steel sheet 8 to the rear end of the preceeding steel sheet and the welded sheet is advanced to the following stage through a deflector roll 16 on the outlet side. Since the tip of the steel sheet 8 does not come in contact with each equipment before it passes the equipment and is always pulled by gravity downward, no buckling occurs and a cycle time can be shortened.
