PURPOSE: To keep the position of a chiller and to easily and surely pull out a cope box from a cope by hanging up the cope box from the pushed up cope and drag with a cope box lifting device.

CONSTITUTION: Cope box pulling-out equipment is provided with a pushing means 18 having a pushing member 20, in which the lower surface thereof descends to the position forming the gap having the necessary length to the upper surface of the cope and drag 2, 3 after pouring, included in the cope and drag boxes 4, 5. The cope and drag boxes 4, 5 are pushed up with a molding flask pushing-up means (cylinder) 8 until the gap between the lower surface of the lowered pushing member 20 and the upper surface of the cope and drag 2, 3 becomes zero. The cope box lifting device 14 for hanging up the cope box 4 from the cope and drag 2, 3 pushed up with the molding flask pushing-up means 8, is arranged. By this method, the cope box can be pulled up from the cope in the conduction of holding the cope and drag from the vertical direction.
